Over a number of months we’ve received numerous questions on and off dealing almost exclusively with precognition and episodes of seeing the ‘future.’ Even though future telling abilities are typically cast off as classic, “Look at this crazy person who thinks they’re psychic,” behavior, its actually unsurprisingly common. We’re speaking to the person who’s reading this wondering if its about them because they’ve had dreams where they’ve predicted their best friends getting married. We’re speaking to the person who was in the middle of driving and foresaw a car accident happening a whole 10 minutes in front of them. Simultaneously, we’re also talking to the person that invents about 12 different scenarios in their head about what the “future” will hold itself. From my own personal experience (Kami here as always), I’ve learned that I actually have episodes of precognition myself because I worry myself with wondering about my own future.
Christina likes to think of it as a really hilarious joke. We have this running hypothesis that some people that contracted themselves to have precognition, meaning agreeing to have an outline of specific areas in their life (hence - contracts), because they want to teach themselves that if they keep worrying about the future, those versions of the future are most likely going to happen. Its a way to teach ourselves to relax and enjoy life and to not stress so much about what’s in front of us. Its deliberately bogging ourselves down with ‘what ifs’ that we don’t actually take action about our lives at all and stay in one place.
You purposely incarnate to figure out who you are all over again. So the question posed is, “How are you going to relearn or rediscover who you are if you won’t even let yourself begin?” The people that worry endlessly about what the future holds may come from the practical side. They’re responsible, they often think before they act, and they’re concerned about whether or not their structured plans color coordinated with different shades of highlighter are going to work in the long run. The really great thing about this kind of thinking and behavior is that you are so incredibly organized that you can take this quality and apply it to anything.
Want to be an event planner? You got it. PR agent or coordinator of some kind? People will be lining up at the door to hire you. Accountant, manager in any field - in whatever you choose, people’s entire careers or lives will be hanging in the balance of how well you organize it. And you know what? This isn’t a bad thing because you actually get off to doing it. This is aimed at the group of people that have given themselves precognitive abilities for this specific reason because we’re well aware that they exist. It does not encompass everyone but it encompasses a good chunk of those who may experience this because they’ve recognized that they’re overthinkers.
When you’re a part of this group that coincidentally overthinks and has episodes of precognition we’re framing this article in this particular way to you because we know full well of what you’re capable of. As someone that overthinks myself (Kami), I have had a collection of instances where I’ve run headlong into things that I have predicted or had feelings about. However this comes from me overthinking every possible scenario to the point where it becomes true. If any of you have seen the new age commercial phenomena, “The Secret,” you probably understand that thought can create reality - but only if you put enough energy and intention into it.
We bring this up because the amount of energy you put into something, whether mental or physical can manifest. We have seen time and time again that people that overthink that have this problem end up accidentally ‘creating’ their own realities whether they like them or not. So this framing of encouraging you to use your organizational powers for “good” so to speak is meant to help you understand that you can take those qualities and turn them outward opposed to against yourself. To this day this is something that I am gradually starting to come out of. Overthinking constantly and second guessing. It still happens to me but I eventually come to the conscious decision that I can be making better uses with my time.
If you find that you overthink and stress yourself out about something it is never too late to correct your behavior. This is why we gave you recommendations. The best way to “conquer” future telling is to let the future actually happen. You can plan for it but there’s a really distinct difference between planning and fixating on the future and trying to control it out of fear. Its all a part of this talk about Letting Go on this blog that we mention so much about. When you decide to let go, even if its a little each day you will eventually get to the point where you’re seeing things more clearly and you’re not developing anxiety over the fact that you can’t foresee a potential outcome. In fact, developing anxiety or anything self induced from stress is psychosomatic. Meaning, like precognition, its entirely your fault.
The trick is to let life flow through you. You can plan and be concerned about the future but as soon as you start letting it control you, then you most likely have another episode of precognition in the mix.
